Diamond Technical Services, Inc. is a technical services and engineering consulting company providing services to various industries including but not limited to, utility, oil, gas, chemical, refining, food processing, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, agricultural, and power industries. Our services include a wide range from remote inspection, outage and project support, engineering services, to NDE services. Our goal is to maximize system availability safely for our clients by providing superior services.
Role Description
This is a Full-time on-site position for a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspector located in Bolingbrook, IL.ย  Work location is a combination of on-site and travel.ย  The NDE Inspector will be responsible for conducting a wide range of NDE inspections such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiography testing on various components of industrial plants, equipment, and systems. The NDE Inspector will also be responsible for creating reports based on inspection findings, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met, and collaborating with other team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid NDE Level II Certification in two or more of the following techniques: ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and/or radiography testing. Phased Array (PAUT)/Shearwave/Straightbeam a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM, pertaining to various forms of non-destructive testing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proof of classroom and OJT hours
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
