Position Overview:

As a Home Inspector, you will be tasked with performing thorough home inspections covering basic residential systems and more specialized ancillary services, including sewer scope inspections, radon testing, mold assessments, and termite inspections. Your work will help empower clients by giving them the information they need to make informed, confident decisions about the properties they are purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive home inspections with meticulous attention to detail and high-quality execution.
  • Provide ancillary services, including sewer scope inspections, radon testing, mold assessments, and termite inspections.
  • Offer exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with clients, real estate agents, and others involved in the transaction.
  • Review inspection findings, explain issues to clients clearly and understandably, and provide practical recommendations.
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude, demonstrating the Burgess Inspections commitment to the Golden Rule and Enjoy Serving Others.

Position Requirements:

  • Prior experience in residential home inspections preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential home systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and real estate agents.
  • Positive attitude, great presence, and strong energy that reflect our company values.
  • Ability to deliver consistent, quality customer service.
  • Proficiency with computers and inspection software.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Commercial experience is a plus.
