STAT Home Health is hiring for a Full-Time Insurance Authorization Specialist!

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of various office machines and office software programs
  • Willingness to learn basic computer knowledge with home health computer systems, OASIS, plan of care and regulations
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn the insurance authorization process of various insurance companies
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Job Duties:

  • Verifying insurance benefits of privately insured clients/patients
  • Data Entry
  • Notifying case management staff of patient service status
  • Record keeping of all patients
  • Other duties as assigned
