Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on the full-time overnight shift. The RN plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, person-centered care by overseeing clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and responding to resident needs during overnight hours. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a calm, focused environment and values autonomy, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards
  • Monitor residents' conditions, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs or emergencies
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Supervise and support CNAs, Med Aides, and other overnight nursing staff
  • Ensure proper documentation of care, assessments, and incidents in the electronic medical record
  • Communicate effectively with on-call providers, leadership, and day-shift staff regarding resident status and overnight events
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and comforting environment for residents overnight

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
