As an Infrastructure Engineer Sr. within PNC's technology organization you can be based in Strongsville OH, Pittsburgh PA or Phoenix AZ.
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be part of PNC's proofpoint team. On a daily basis you will work with skilled engineers to monitor the health and functionality of the proofpoint infrastructure. Working in partnership with the PNC Security team, you will be responsible for assisting with responding to security events, system anomalies, and system issues. Deep knowledge of proofpoint on-premises & cloud platforms, SKIM/SPF/DMARC, SMTP & related diagnostics, as well as complex email flow configurations is required.
Proofpoint certifications are preferred.
Infrastructure Engineer (proofpoint) Responsibilities:
Supports enterprise scale email infrastructure (60k+ mailboxes, 7MM emails per day).
Deep understanding of email infrastructure components and diagnostics.
Functions as messaging SME and technical lead for assigned projects.
Develop and maintain process workflow and infrastructure architectural diagrams / documentation.
Ensure adherence to enterprise change and risk control management standards.
On-call rotation schedule for critical after-hours support.
