Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Quality Informatics for our System Quality Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Manager of Quality Informatics, you will:
• Develops and maintains excellent relationships with team members at the system, entity, and departmental levels
• Participates in CERNER and other clinical applications design, validation, and go-live support
• Understands the technical capabilities of our current systems and participates in continued process improvement and redesign
• Assesses clinical care delivery to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency across the AHC system
• Guides processes within the system capabilities to collect/analyze patient information, identify trends, consider process and outcome data in an effort to reduce redundancy and standardize clinical practice and documentation where possible
• Integrates all aspects of patient care documentation into a patient care data management system utilizing the Cerner System as the primary tool, including the technical, cultural, process, knowledge, coordination, political, and communication components
• Promotes ongoing system adoption and effectively utilizes evidence-based change cycle models
• Assists with the collection and reporting of metrics, defining benefits realization and return on
investment associated with Clinical Information Systems
• Supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of ongoing changes to the patient care data management system at AHC in accordance with state/federal regulations and guidelines, end-user feedback, and the System Quality Agenda
• Serves as a member of the Accreditation Readiness Team
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Healthcare. A master's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Healthcare.
• Knowledge of CERNER/comparable clinical applications
• Strong working knowledge of accreditation readiness (state/federal regulations, accreditation body standards, etc.)
• Must have clinical workflow expertise
• Must have excellent facilitation skills
• Must be effective as a team member and team leader
• Must have excellent organizational and presentation skills
• Must have experience with data collection, aggregation, and analysis
• Knowledge of lean or Six Sigma preferred
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to travel up to 70% of the time
• Experience with and working knowledge of clinical systems
• Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Typical Daily Schedule: 8:30 am- 5 pm Monday through Friday

Pay Range:
$89,356.80 - $134,035.20
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
