Job description

Full-Time Merchandiser

Location: Sumter County, SC
Pay: $1,475 biweekly
Auto Allowance: $120 biweekly
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.28 per mile

Position Overview

Employment Solutions is hiring a dependable, hardworking Merchandiser to service retail locations throughout Sumter County. This is an active, route-based position involving stocking, product rotation, display maintenance, and general labor.

You will use your personal vehicle to travel between assigned retail locations. This is not a delivery-driver position.

Schedule
  • Five days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays
  • Two scheduled weekdays off
  • 6:00 AM start until route completion, typically around 3:00–4:00 PM
  • Approximately 10 overtime hours per week
Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned retail locations using your personal vehicle
  • Stock and rotate products to maintain freshness
  • Remove expired or damaged products
  • Organize shelves, displays, and back-stock areas
  • Move freight and collect pallets, shells, and flats
  • Communicate with sales and delivery teams regarding customer needs
  • Maintain clean, attractive product displays
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds with assistance or equipment
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
  • Willing and able to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
