Job description

We are seeking a full-time Production Technician to operate our dry ice machine and manage block ice production. This is a hands-on role essential to daily operations, requiring mechanical awareness, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor dry ice production equipment
  • Run block ice production from freezing through handling and staging
  • Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical issues
  • Assist with preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Stack, move, and organize ice safely
  • Perform daily and scheduled cleaning and sanitization
  • Maintain accurate production and sanitation logs
  • Monitor supplies and report shortages
  • Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time with consistent hours
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (freezers/refrigerated areas)
  • Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, and standing
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
