Job description

As a Hydraulic Design Engineer, you will engineer the best designed FIELD INSTALLATION KITS in the industry. Hydraulic kit designs include a BOM, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and installation manuals.

1. Oversee kit design to ensure it meets customer specifications.

2. Maintain the ownership and accountability culture that promotes error-free designs throughout the productโ€™s lifecycle.

3. Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams on designs to deliver cost effective solutions for our customers.

4. Analyze designs to improve product quality while maintaining our cost competitiveness in the industry.

5. Performs quality control checks, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the kit designs

6. Proficient in design and modeling software to effectively communicate products or concepts to customers

7. Engages with team members to generate ideas for continuous improvement

8. Work with team members to ensure the product ships within expected lead times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor in Engineering degree from an accredited school
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Technical writing experience
  • Basic hydraulic knowledge with ability to follow and understand schematics
  • Related job experience a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role

  • AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point
