What is a full time HubSpot developer?

A Full Time Hubspot Developer is a professional who specializes in building, customizing, and maintaining websites, landing pages, and integrations using the HubSpot platform. They work with HubSpot’s CMS, CRM, and marketing tools to create custom modules, email templates, and workflows that support a company's marketing and sales strategies. In addition to strong front-end development skills (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript), they often handle API integrations and automation within HubSpot. As full-time employees, they are dedicated to a single company or agency, ensuring ongoing support, optimization, and alignment with business objectives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time HubSpot developer?

To thrive as a Full Time Hubspot Developer, you need a solid grasp of front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), HubSpot CMS, and experience with CRM integrations, often backed by a degree in computer science or related fields. Familiarity with HubSpot's development tools, APIs, and certifications like HubSpot CMS Developer or HubSpot Marketing Software are typically expected. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help you collaborate with marketing teams and deliver tailored solutions. Job description

HVAC SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Construction, Retrofit & Service Sales

Jurupa Valley, CA (Inland Empire) | Full-Time, Exempt | $110,000–$140,000 Base + Uncapped, Margin-Based Commission

About Unified Mechanical Group

Unified Mechanical Group (UMG) is a union-affiliated commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical contractor headquartered in Jurupa Valley, California. UMG performs new construction, retrofit, and service work across Southern California, serving clients in government and municipal, healthcare, education, commercial and retail, and industrial and distribution facilities. UMG is built on three operating principles we call the Gears: People, Process, and Purpose. We are a growing company with an ambitious five-year plan, and we are looking for people who want to help build something, not just maintain it.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Sales Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across both our Construction and Service divisions. This is a role for someone who wants to build a territory, not inherit one someone else already picked over. As a growing company, UMGis looking for a sales representativewho brings their own prospecting discipline, urgency, and accountability to the job, and who is motivated by the chance to help shape how this sales team is built, not just work inside a structure someone else set years ago.

You will prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close on both new commercial HVAC construction and retrofit work and recurring preventative maintenance agreementsfrom cradle to grave. You will work closely with the Director of Construction and Estimating on pricing, scope, and proposal development, and with the Director of Service to convert completed projects into recurring maintenance agreements. You will report to the Director of Sales.

What You Will Do

  • Pursue and close commercial HVAC construction and retrofit projects across government, healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial verticals
  • Sell and expand preventative maintenance and service agreements with facility managers, property owners, and public agencies
  • Build and own long-term relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, public works departments, and facility directors
  • Conduct site walks and equipment assessments to develop tailored, technically credible proposals
  • Partner with the Director of Construction and Estimating to price competitively while protecting company margin
  • Convert construction wins into recurring service agreements in coordination with the Director of Service, and use service relationships to surface new construction and retrofit opportunities
  • Maintain accurate, current pipeline data in HubSpot
  • Represent UMG at industry and networking events

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting sales, candidates without commercial mechanical construction or service sales experience will not be considered
  • A verifiable track record of closing construction or service contracts of $1M or more, not just pipeline
  • Working technical knowledge of commercial mechanical systems, construction delivery methods, and preventative maintenance strategies
  • Experience managing a CRM pipeline with real discipline, HubSpot experience a plus
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills with multiple stakeholders
  • A valid California driver's license and a clean driving record

Bonus points for existing relationships with general contractors, public agencies, or facility managers in Southern California; experience selling into government, healthcare, or institutional accounts; or familiarity with California Title 24, prevailing wage requirements, or utility rebate programs (SCE, Golden State Rebates).

Compensation & Benefits

UMG offers a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain experienced commercial HVAC sales talent in the Southern California market.

  • $110,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Uncapped, tiered, margin-based commission, not a flat percentage of revenue, so it rewards profitable selling rather than volume alone
  • Recurring commission on service agreements you convert or renew, compounding on top of construction earnings year over year
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
  • Company phone or monthly phone allowance
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • The opportunity to grow with a company in an active, well-capitalized growth phase

Unified Mechanical Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. UMG considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
