A full-time hourly role typically involves working 35–40 hours per week, often with set shifts that may vary depending on the employer’s needs. While full-time hourly employees usually receive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off, they may be eligible for overtime pay if they work beyond 40 hours in a week. Team collaboration and communication with supervisors are common, particularly when coordinating shift coverage or responding to peak business hours.

In the United States, full time is often defined as working at least 30-40 hours per week. Employees working full time are often eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans, compared to part-time workers. The exact number of hours and benefits can vary by company policy and local labor laws.
