The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full time Psychiatrist to join its CPEP as a Nocturnist. The Nocturnist will work 3-4 weekday or weekend overnights to make a 40 hour work week. A desire to work closely with residents is essential. In addition to the academic opportunity to teach residents, the cultural diversity of the community adds another layer of richness to the clinical work. The location of Western Queens makes it an easy commute from all areas of NYC, Westchester and Long Island. Candidates must have a MD/DO degree and be board certified/board eligible in Psychiatry with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications as well as teaching opportunities in our adult residency program.
