What is a full time horseback guide?

Full time horseback guides are professionals who lead individuals or groups on horseback riding tours, typically in outdoor settings such as ranches, parks, or wilderness areas. Their responsibilities include ensuring the safety of riders, caring for the horses, providing instruction on riding techniques, and sharing information about the local area or wildlife. They often work for ranches, resorts, or tour companies and may also be tasked with maintaining trails and horse equipment. This role requires strong horsemanship skills, good communication abilities, and a passion for working outdoors with people and animals.

Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service abilities help create enjoyable and safe experiences for guests. These skills are crucial for ensuring guest safety, maintaining horse welfare, and delivering memorable guided rides.
