As a Cage Shift Manager, you will be a key leader in our Casino Cage operations, responsible for the accurate and efficient management of all financial transactions and assets during your shift.   • Associate's Degree and 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven ability to lead a team effectively.

  • Ability to proficiently operate basic office equipment, computers, and standard computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

  • Comfortable working in an indoor, office-type climate with exposure to smoke, extreme temperatures, fumes, loud noises, dirt, dust, and unpleasant odors.

  • Ability to handle average-weight objects up to 25 lbs, with prolonged sitting, some standing, and walking required.


  • Manage the overall daily operations of Casino Cages, Main Cages, and Vaults through subordinate Supervisors on your assigned shift.

  • Ensure company funds and assets are safeguarded, and that accountability is properly maintained and balanced according to prescribed procedures. Oversee the management of vault funds, including amounts in excess of $4 million.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all Cage policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements (CNGC, IRS, and OHRC as applicable).

  • Schedule, hire, train, and performance manage department staff to ensure competency, build knowledge, and provide for succession planning. Evaluate and provide feedback to staff and management regarding customer service execution.

  • Assist in the identification, development, and implementation of process efficiencies.

  • Report any suspicious activity to appropriate management, Security, and/or Surveillance personnel. Work with Accounting/Security/Surveillance to investigate unusual or suspicious activity, including cashier variances.

  • Ensure equipment required for guest financial services (ATM, Check Cashing, Cash Advance, Ticket Redemption, etc.) is functioning as designed.

  • Manage relationships with other departments to meet business demands.
