Schedule: (Rotating 2-2-3) Day or Night Shifts
Hours: 6:20am - 6:30pm or 6:20pm - 6:30am
$5,000 Retention Bonus!
10% Premium for Night Shifts

Aptar is seeking an Inspector based in Mukwonago, WI. This position is fully on-site. This position is to aid Mukwonago's Quality Systems and Manufacturing processes. The role will be responsible for entering into quality notifications, the completion of all quality checks including but not limited to start of shifts, product audits, shot inspections, etc. This position must participate in and adhere to all applicable plant certifications including but not limited to, ISO 9001, SQF, and BRC.
You Will be
  • Read production orders for product requirements and visually inspect products according to inspection plans including color matching and Bag and tag retain product shots.
  • Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures.
  • Inspects, tests, and accepts or rejects finished product using written specifications, parameters, or guidelines, as established by company procedures and as trained by Operations.
  • Documents all inspection/test results and any non-conformances found during the inspection, testing, or evaluations according to established procedures.
  • Support other QA employees on defect awareness, inspection methods, and specification requirements.
  • When necessary, operate emergency stops on closing machines, grinders, auxiliary equipment and understand lockout/tag-out procedure.
  • Ability to run machines adequately for the relief of Operators for breaks/lunch.
  • Able to work with Supervisor and technical team to coordinate plan changes when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Who We are Looking For
Education:
  • Highschool Diploma or GED

Required Skills
  • Up to 6 months of training as an Operator.
  • Intermediate-level skills with Microsoft Office Software and Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of plant Quality Control processes.
  • Knowledge of injection molding and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of packaging applications (closures, bottles, & tubes).
  • Knowledge of SPC.

Preferred Skills
  • Ability to read, count, and write.
  • Ability to Distinguish colors as proven by a successful passing color test.
  • Ability to learn or possess computer data entry and editing skills with provided company software.
  • Able to work with minimal supervisors and to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Prompt and Detail-Oriented.
