Job description

Maintains, implements, and reports the production of oil and gas within company's operated fields. Reports production to the appropriate partners as well as Federal and State agencies. Works closely with asset teams, field personnel and revenue to ensure accurate allocations. This position is full-time in the office in Downtown Houston.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepares, monitors, and maintains daily and monthly oil and gas allocations.
  • Monitors and maintains data entry associated with oil, water and gas volumes, end of the month stocks, chart integrations, and crude oil run tickets.
  • Monitors and maintain production volumes of company operated properties to ensure revenues are received and recorded accurately.
  • Works with field operators and asset teams to correct any FDC/SAP-UOM issues with daily production and can explain daily and monthly variances.
  • Trains new field operators in the use of FDC (field data capture system) setup and data entry.
  • Maintains professional working relationships with all levels of field personnel.
  • Works with Asset Teams to ensure that all daily and monthly allocations are accurate down to the well level. Provides the team with any production information or analysis of data as requested.
  • Monitors and resolves regulatory compliance issues associated with production audits and third-party audits.
  • Becomes proficient in how Hydrocarbons flow in the field for your area to ensure accurate daily and monthly allocations.
  • Becomes proficient with the SAP-UOM software and can accomplish Delivery setups for complex fields. Able to resolve setup issues and daily and monthly errors in the production SAP/UOM system.
  • Consults with Managers to resolve issues and flow setups for more complex systems in the production accounting system.
  • Prepare monthly Partner reports. Works with partners when there is a concern on the report.
  • Prepares and monitors all third-party oil and gas statements on operated properties.
  • Provides backup assistance, as needed, to other departments.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Eight (8) years minimum production analyst experience in the oil and gas industry with several years involved with mid-level to more complex production allocation.
  • Preferred strong knowledge of the state of Louisiana rules and regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex production information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Outstanding management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
    • Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
    • Preferred: Enertia and/or SAP accounting software.

Education Requirements:
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college or related experience.
