Job SummaryWere hiring a high-level HVAC technician to run service, estimates, and light installs in the Missoula area with strong support from our central team.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone who takes ownership, communicates consistently, and wants to earn based on performancenot just hours.
You will work closely with a centralized support team (dispatch, office, and leadership) while operating as the primary field technician in your market.What Youll Do
  • Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and service calls with professionalism and efficiency
  • Generate accurate estimates for repairs and system replacements
  • Present options to customers and close appropriate work in the field
  • Identify and develop light commercial service and maintenance opportunities
  • Assist with and lead residential system installations as needed
  • Maintain accurate job notes, estimates, and communication in company systems
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch and leadership
  • Represent the company professionally with customers and in the community

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Pay: $30$40/hour (based on experience and capability)
  • Commission Opportunities:


    • Service ticket commission
    • IAQ and accessory sales incentives
    • System sales commission
  • On-Call Compensation: Additional pay for on-call rotation
  • Company Vehicle Provided

- Base hourly (paid for hours worked)
- Commission on all production
- On-call stipend
$30$40/hr + performance-based commissions (top techs $90k$130k+)

Requirements
  • 5+ years HVAC service experience (residential required, commercial preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with system replacement estimating and/or sales
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in both service and installation
  • Experience with light commercial systems and maintenance agreements
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar software
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to present options and close work
