The Forward Function Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Early Interventional Center in Coos Bay, Oregon. • Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ functional abilities and needs to develop personalized therapy plans that support their mobility and independence.
• Implement one-on-one treatment sessions that may include activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills exercises, and adaptive equipment training.
• Regularly monitor residents' progress towards their therapy goals, modifying care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure adherence to best practices in therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate occupational therapy strategies into comprehensive care plans and participate in team meetings.

In this role, you will primarily work with older adults residing in an assisted living setting, many of whom may be managing chronic conditions or recovering from surgeries. Your therapeutic interventions will not only focus on rehabilitation but also on prevention, wellness, and enhancing the overall quality of life of the residents. You will build meaningful connections with each individual, fostering an environment where they feel supported and valued.

• A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Possession of an active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Oregon is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation or geriatric care.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic techniques and industry regulations.
• Previous employment in an assisted living or similar environment is highly desirable.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
