We're looking for a compassionate and confident Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Habersham County Jail. Correctional healthcare is a unique environment where no two days are exactly alike, but the mission remains the same: provide safe, compassionate, and quality care to every patient.

Pay Range: $28 to $29 per hour
You don't have to have correctional healthcare experience to succeed here. What matters most is your clinical knowledge, your ability to think on your feet, and your commitment to treating every patient with dignity and respect.
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care in a correctional healthcare setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Complete nursing assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals
Respond to urgent medical needs with confidence and professionalism
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately

What You Bring
Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team
Confidence, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required
