Job Summary:
The Founding Gym Director is a full-time, career-level position, reporting directly to the owners. This role is unique because the Director will be responsible for the overall pre-opening development, business setup, team formation, and ongoing performance of this new Little Gym location.
Key Responsibilities: Launch, Build, & Lead
1. Business Setup & Strategic Launch
  • Establish Operational Foundation: Partner with owners to define and implement all crucial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scheduling, enrollment, cash management, and facility flow prior to opening.
  • Marketing & Community Outreach: Execute the pre-opening marketing plan to drive initial enrollment. Establish strong community relationships and local partnerships to ensure a successful launch.
  • Sell The Little Gym program to new customers and manage initial enrollment projections.

2. Team Building & Culture Creation
  • Recruitment & Staffing: Directly responsible for hiring the entire founding staff, including Instructors and Administrative personnel. Develop a strategic staffing schedule to meet launch demand.
  • Training & Development: Design and lead the comprehensive initial training program for all new team members, focusing on curriculum mastery, exceptional customer service, and operational efficiency.
  • Culture Leadership: Establish and champion the fun, high-energy, and professional culture that defines The Little Gym. Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous staff growth.
  • Lead a team in providing outstanding customer service and membership experience second to none.

3. Program & Operational Management
  • Teach GREAT classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including class scheduling, customer retention efforts, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain facility and equipment to ensure a clean, fun, and safe environment for children and staff.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of Management experience leading a team and responsible for revenue and profitability
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of hiring, training, and motivating staff.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Love to have fun and not only smiles easily but finds joy in making others smile
  • Sales and/or Customer service experience
  • A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics is a plus
