The Role: Technical Graphic Designer

As a Technical Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in our production process, preparing accurate and optimized files for printing, cutting, and assembling our signage products. Your technical expertise and efficiency will ensure a smooth production workflow, working closely with our project management and production teams.

High Level Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position (40 hrs/week), on-site.
  • Monday to Friday schedule, with Friday afternoons off.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Use software like CorelDraw and Illustrator to create detailed plans and sketches.
  • Ensure all drawings meet graphic and technical standards and align with initial specifications.
  • Produce accurate scale models and drawings based on reference documents.
  • Prepare all pre-production elements for machines and printers.
  • Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary data and define project elements.
  • Work closely with technical and production teams to meet all requirements.
  • Organize and verify all documentation and participate in design team meetings.
  • Oversee production to ensure timely project delivery to clients.

  • Diploma in technical drawing or technical graphic design.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on technical drawing production or creation (experience in the signage industry is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and/or CorelDraw.
  • Ability to read architectural and building plans with technical creativity.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Team-oriented with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Able to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written) and English (written).
