Grain Elevator Operations Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grain Elevator Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day activities at our LaPlace facility. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality grain handling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee grain receiving, shipping, handling, conditioning, and grading

  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and grain quality control

  • Prepare for and manage rail loading operations

  • Operate and help maintain elevator equipment

  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs

  • Uphold and enforce safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in grain elevator or ag facility operations preferred, but not required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Comfortable working at heights (4ft - 25ft) and climbing ladders daily

  • Ability to direct others and communicate effectively

  • Commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork

  • Must be able to work with or without reasonable accommodation
