A leading digital streaming network seeks an SEO Specialist, Streaming to support content optimization and AI Discovery initiatives across streaming platforms.
SEO Specialist, Streaming Responsibilities:
  • Conduct keyword, topic, and competitive research to support landing pages, editorial content, title launches, sports events, market initiatives, content calendars, and localized SEO strategies while identifying new optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and optimize SEO content by creating and reviewing content briefs, providing writer feedback, refining copy, optimizing metadata, headings, internal links, image attributes, content formatting, semantic keyword usage, and other SEO elements while performing CMS updates and content audits.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using Google Search Console and other SEO tools to identify trends, refresh opportunities, ranking improvements, Google News and Discover opportunities, AI Discovery performance, and optimization priorities.
  • Collaborate with Editorial, Content Operations, Marketing, Social Media, PR, Localization, Product, Analytics, and merchandising teams to provide SEO guidance, support international content initiatives, develop scalable SEO best practices, and align content with business objectives.
  • Apply semantic SEO, NLP-driven optimization, AI Discovery best practices, and performance insights to improve search visibility, answer engine optimization, and content discoverability across search engines and AI-powered platforms.

SEO Specialist, Streaming Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in content SEO and editorial SEO.
  • Experience creating SEO content strategies and optimizing content for large-scale websites.
  • Experience conducting keyword research and competitive analysis using Semrush, Google Trends, Google Search Console, or similar SEO platforms.
  • Experience using Google Search Console to monitor content performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Experience creating SEO content briefs, reviewing editorial content, providing writer feedback, and optimizing landing pages and editorial content.
  • Experience supporting content calendars, topic ideation, content prioritization, and performance-based content updates.
  • Experience making content updates in CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of content SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, search intent, metadata, headings, internal linking, image optimization, content formatting, and on-page SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with semantic SEO, NLP-based content optimization, entity-driven SEO, answer engine optimization, AI Discovery concepts, and AI-assisted search experiences.
  • Ability to balance SEO best practices, brand voice, audience needs, and business priorities.
  • Familiarity with Google News, Google Discover, and content discovery best practices.
  • Experience supporting international or multi-language SEO initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience working on large-scale websites within streaming, entertainment, media, or publishing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Yoast, and Adobe Analytics is preferred.
  • Proficiency in a second language is preferred.
