If that sounds like you, keep reading to learn more about becoming our Telecommunications Cabling Installer - Service Technician!YOU CAN EXPECT TO:Travel to industrial and commercial locationsCommunicate with clients, project managers, and team members about their structured cabling needsAccurately install, terminate, test, and label copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and fiber optic cables according to blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and CKC standardsTroubleshoot and maintain systems while complying with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, and local codesUse various tools to test and certify cablesClean and organize your job siteFollow all company standards, procedures, and expectationsREQUIREMENTS FOR OUR TELECOMMUNICATIONS CABLING INSTALLER - SERVICE TECHNICIAN:Current BICSI certification, preferably technician level or higherProven structured cabling installation experience and proficiency with testing and installation equipmentThorough understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and standardsAbility to accurately read and follow construction drawings and technical specificationsAbility to complete high-quality work independently, with a team, and with minimal supervisionPhysical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments/conditions (construction sites, data centers, on ladders, in confined spaces, etc.)Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including some overnight travel as neededJOIN US!CKC Data Solutions provides comprehensive planning and coordination to deliver tailored IT infrastructure solutions for clients nationwide.
