From mowing fairways to trimming greens, planting and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers, you'll work closely with the golf course maintenance team to keep the course looking beautiful and ready for play.You will use a variety of small equipment, including power tools like push blowers, backpack blowers, weed eaters, and edgers, as well as hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pitchforks to maintain the course at its highest standard. You will also operate large equipment such as tractors for mowing, aerating, and other essential groundskeeping tasks.Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):Cutting grass, weeds, and bushes across the golf course grounds.Using power tools (push blowers, backpack blowers, weed eaters, edgers) and hand tools (shovels, rakes, pitchforks) to keep the course meticulously clean and well-kept.Operating larger equipment, such as tractors, for mowing and maintaining larger areas of the course.Cleaning machinery after each use to ensure proper maintenance and longevity.Reporting any machinery issues to the mechanic and/or supervisor promptly.Assisting with irrigation, pest control, and landscaping projects as needed.Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, both on the course and in the maintenance area. What We're Looking For:Previous groundskeeping or landscape maintenance experience, preferably in a golf course setting.A passion for outdoor work and attention to detail.Familiarity with a variety of small and large equipment, including power tools (blowers, weed eaters, etc.) and hand tools (shovels, rakes, pitchforks).Ability to safely operate larger equipment like tractors and other machinery used in course maintenance.Ability to work in various weather conditions and maintain high standards of performance.A team player with a strong work ethic.Must be 18 years or older.Availability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and during special events.A valid driver's license and the ability to operate maintenance equipment. If you take pride in creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes and want to contribute to the excellence of a world-renowned Robert Trent Jones golf course, we'd love to have you on our team!The Club may conduct a background check on any applicant or employee.
