• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and challenges.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to provide holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social factors affecting client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in mental health care and therapies.

The LPC will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. Our patients often include individuals, families, and groups seeking support for short-term difficulties as well as long-standing mental health concerns. A strong focus on compassionate care is essential in helping clients navigate their unique journeys toward emotional wellness.

• A Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements set forth by relevant clinical settings within the organization.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients, substance abuse populations, or in similar therapeutic environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and delivering both individual and group therapies.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling practices.
• Familiarity with innovative therapeutic techniques and holistic approaches to mental health.
• Proven track record of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
