They use manual tools and automated machines to measure, score, and break glass accurately according to specific dimensions and patterns. In addition to cutting, they often handle glass installation and may be responsible for ensuring safety standards are met when handling fragile materials. Working full time means they typically have a consistent schedule and may be employed by glass manufacturing companies, construction firms, or specialty shops.

To thrive as a Full Time Glass Cutter, you need strong manual dexterity, precision measurement skills, and a solid understanding of glass types and safety procedures, often gained through on-the-job training or vocational programs. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are valuable soft skills in this role. These skills and qualities ensure accurate cuts, minimize waste, and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
