Purchasing College Co-Op
Job Description Summary
The Purchasing College Co-Op provides critical support for the Cost Request team within Dauch's Procurement organization. The Cost Request team owns the purchasing inputs of all program, design, and supplier changes within Dauch as well as facilitates the pursuit of new business to help the company grow. The Co-Op will collaborate on crafting business cases, developing pricing strategies, and executing program management activities.

Job Description:
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools to ensure programs milestones
  • Assists with developing pricing proposals and strategies.
  • Coordinates business case preparation.
  • Tracks purchase/tool orders.
  • Responsible for initiating and/or creating cost requests within the cost request system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
  • Must be enrolled fulltime at a College or University
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related field.
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • Able to maintain confidential information.
  • Must be interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.
  • Must be available to work 25-35 hours/week year-round.
  • Able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.
