Job description

KeyLogic has an immediate need for Budget Analysts to join our Energy Team in support of the Department of Energy's (DOE) Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office (HGEO). The position may be based in Washington, DC or Germantown, MD.

The Budget Analysts will provide senior expertise in the financial management, formulation, and execution of multi-million dollar federal energy budgets. This role ensure that federal appropriations for carbon management, geothermal systems, and hydrocarbon research align with both agency directives and congressional mandates.

Position Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Direct experience supporting the DOE Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office (HGEO) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Budget Formulation and Justification; Congressional Narratives, Resource Modeling, and Program Alignment.
  • Budget Execution and Funds Management; Spending Tracking, Allocation and Allotment, and Reprogramming Requests.
  • Financial Assistance and Grant Oversight Support; Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) and Cost-Benefit Analysis.

Salary Range $50,000-$100,000 Dependent upon experience
