Job description

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at one of the largest and most innovative technology organizations along the Wasatch Front. As part of this team, you'll contribute to technology solutions that support the mission of the Church-work that is both purpose-driven and impactful, guided by values that reflect lasting, eternal significance.

About the Role
This 9-month, full-time paid internship (approximately August-April) is part of our Tech Campus Recruiting team. You'll play a key role in helping hire nearly 300 IT interns for the 2027 calendar year. This is a hands-on, high-impact experience where you'll gain real-world recruiting and HR experience while collaborating with students, university partners, and hiring managers.

We're looking for someone who is outgoing, highly organized, and energized by connecting with people. In this role, you'll represent the Church Internship Program-serving as a trusted ambassador at events, on campus, and throughout the hiring process.

What You'll Experience

  • Be a key contributor to a large-scale, high-visibility recruiting effort
  • Build relationships with students, faculty, and hiring leaders
  • Gain hands-on experience in recruiting, talent strategy, and HR operations
  • Represent a mission-driven organization at campus events and career fairs

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid work model: one day per week in-office (Riverton, UT), remainder remote
  • Travel opportunities during peak recruiting seasons (Sept/Oct and Jan/Feb), including occasional overnight stays (expenses covered)

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university or within one year of graduation
  • Lives within driving distance of Riverton, UT
  • Has reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
  • Strong data entry and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data management tools
  • Experience presenting, facilitating meetings, or leading group discussions
  • Customer service or client-facing experience
