Location: UHealth Tower

The Department of Food Services has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Storeroom Attendant (U) position. The Storeroom Attendant (U) performs a variety of food and supplies services and sanitation duties to ensure proper handling in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Additionally, the Storeroom Attendant (U) completes tasks associated with storeroom operations, such as receiving, stocking, and delivering inventory.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Sorts and weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notice.

  • Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.

  • Inputs stock items into computer and stores in the assigned location.

  • Counts inventory items to verify accuracy on a regular basis.

  • Maintains premises in a clean and orderly fashion, including sweeping floors, mopping coolers, and dusting shelves.

  • Participates in trash and garbage disposal.

  • Delivers items received to appropriate staff or department in a timely fashion.

  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
