Position Overview

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Marketing Specialist to support a growing Medical Aesthetics business in the U.S.

This role is responsible for:

  • Driving scientific engagement

  • Managing KOL relationships

  • Executing evidence-based marketing strategies

The goal is to strengthen brand credibility and accelerate market adoption.

Key Responsibilities

KOL Engagement & Development

  • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including board-certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons

  • Manage KOL advisory boards and speaker bureaus

Medical Education & Events

  • Plan and execute scientific product presentations, clinical seminars, webinars, and hands-on workshops

  • Represent the company at major industry congresses and symposia

Scientific Content Creation

  • Develop and review scientific marketing materials (clinical brochures, white papers, presentations)

  • Translate complex clinical data into clear, commercially viable marketing narratives

Clinical Marketing Execution

  • Collaborate with global marketing and clinical teams

  • Execute evidence-based marketing campaigns

  • Support new product and device launches in the U.S. market

Sales Enablement & Training

  • Provide scientific and clinical training to internal sales teams

  • Enable effective communication of product efficacy, safety, and clinical advantages

Market Insight & Strategy

  • Monitor competitive landscape and emerging clinical trends

  • Provide strategic insights to leadership

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

  • 5–7 years in:

    • Scientific Marketing

    • Medical Affairs

    • Clinical Marketing

    • Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

Industry Background

  • Experience in medical aesthetics (devices, fillers, neurotoxins, etc.)

  • Preferred experience from companies such as Allergan, Merz, or Galderma

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Preferred: Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biology, or related field

Skills

  • Strong ability to interpret clinical data and translate it into marketing insights

  • Proven experience in KOL management

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel (domestic & international)
