Job Summary:
ABCS, Inc. is focused on IT executive and contingent workforce staffing, and they are seeking a Project Manager to join ADOA-ASET. The role involves managing multiple complex enterprise projects, ensuring project delivery within time and cost constraints, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple complex and high visibility enterprise projects
• Serves as project champion embracing and articulating project goals, objectives and outcomes for projects such as cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, digitization, enterprise-wide applications and managed partnerships
• Manage the project team to drive results and successes; Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities
• Manages the entire project life cycle from discovery through lessons learned
• Facilitates team/stakeholder interactions, meetings and communications
• Works with project resources, including procurement and vendor, to assure project health
• Ensure the team is working together and step in when needed
• Understands, monitors and reports on project tasks, milestones and deliverables.
• Document and report on project management activities
• Guides project teams to define requirements or stories/sprints/backlogs
• Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary - Balances priorities among multiple projects/subprojects
• Plan, budget, monitor and report on the project with project management tools. Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 3+ years in a project management or similar role utilizing PM processes/protocols
• 1+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
• PM methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Lean, Kanban, Agile, hybrid)
• Bachelor's degree required
• PMP Certification required
• Proactive Orientation
• Strong ability to identify and resolve risks/issues/changes, Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
