Position Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications supporting critical business operations for a Fortune 100 industrial manufacturing organization. This hybrid role, based in Chicago, IL, offers the opportunity to work across the full technology stack - from backend services to front-end interfaces to cloud infrastructure - while collaborating closely with a growing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

      Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot

      Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular

      Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS

      Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational data for test data management workflows

      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, well-tested features

Team & Growth Opportunity

This role sits within a broader engineering group of 15, organized into three smaller teams, and offers the opportunity to grow into a lead position over time.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, IL, with in-office presence as needed. Candidates must already reside in the Chicago area.

Requirements

Education & Experience Required

      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience
