Become a Key Player as a Software Engineer

You will help maintain coverage for an FTE by delivering QA and test automation for the organization's engineering team. Your work will ensure product quality and smooth releases while collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders. This is an onsite role in San Jose with a defined contract period, working full-time hours.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Write and maintain test specifications and automated test scripts
  • Apply and enforce test methodology, test life cycle, and bug life cycle processes
  • Troubleshoot issues and diagnose root causes in production and test environments
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and work in an Agile/Scrum process
  • Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins) to integrate and run automated tests
  • Work with web technologies and scripting to validate product behavior

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (Bachelor's or Master's a plus)
  • Minimum 2–3 years (noted 2–5 yrs) of experience in quality assurance and automation
  • Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals and common testing methodologies
  • Experience developing test automation frameworks and systems
  • Proficiency with scripting/programming (JavaScript, Python, Java, ActionScript noted)
  • Experience with Jenkins and troubleshooting on Linux
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and with remote teams
