Job description

Johnson Bros. Corporation, A Southland Holdings Company is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated construction workers to join our team in Clearwater, FL as a Dozer Operator (GPS).

Duties:

  • Operate grader to spread and level material according to grade specification
  • Manipulate hand and/or foot controls to operate a grader on roads
  • Coordinate machine actions with other activities, moving in response to hand or audio signals
  • Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

DOT Experience REQUIRED

1-3 YEARS  Heavy equipment operation

Operates several types of construction equipment to include, but not limited to backhoes, dozers, or rough graders. Demands require a worker with experience in the heavy, civil construction industry and ability to work under limited direction and supervision.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
