Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourEndocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will helpoutpatient endocrinology patientsreceive specialized medical care, diagnosis, and management of common illnesses and disease preventionso they caneffectively control their endocrine conditions and improve their overall health.

In this role, you willassume clinical responsibility for tasks within your scope of practice, collaborating closely with a physician/medical director in a full-time, Monday-Friday outpatient setting.You will take patient histories, perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, establish diagnoses, provide care management, make appropriate referrals, and participate in quality assurance and multidisciplinary team planning.

To be successful in this role, you mustbe a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with expertise in endocrinology, demonstrate excellent clinical skills in patient assessment and management, and possess strong collaborative abilities for working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Job Requirements

Required

  • NP or PA Master's Degree from accredited program
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
  • Hold and maintain national certification in NP/PA area, under AZ regulations
  • American Heart Association BCLS

Preferred

  • Three years experience in endocrinology
