We are currently hiring a full-time Field Service Technician to support customers in the Kenosha, WI area. While the role will primarily service customer material handling equipment throughout the Kenosha market, all new hires will complete initial training at our primary shop in New Berlin, WI.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other makes of lift trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance per manufacture specifications on material handling equipment, stackers, electric tow trucks, and transporters.
  • Safely operate grinders, drill presses, air compressors, and other common hand and power tools in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas.
  • Maintain personal technician tools and equipment for safe and efficient daily operations.
  • Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Participate in monthly safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and equipment repair skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial or automotive equipment.
  • Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
  • Customer service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage time and attendance. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
  • Field Technician Positions: Regular travel within an assigned territory is required; the ability to operate a motor vehicle is necessary for this role.
