Job Description

As the Juicery Crew Chief, you’ll lead daily operations for our juicery—bringing clarity, positivity, and consistency to both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. You’ll coach your crew to deliver exceptional service, maintain top-tier product quality, and keep our wellness-focused process running smoothly, especially during high-volume periods.

This is a full-time role for an active, values-driven leader who loves health-forward food, energetic guest interactions, and building a team that’s proud to be part of CraveWell Cafe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, onboard, and train new team members (“Cravers”) and develop shift leaders into confident “Juiceristas.”

  • Daily Operations: Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensure equipment is clean and functioning, and support store key-holding and safety standards.

  • Health-Focused Product Quality: Ensure accurate, consistent preparation of wellness shots, cold-pressed juices, fresh produce prep, and all juicery items—every time.

  • Guest Experience: Create a welcoming, upbeat environment and coach the team to deliver fast, friendly, exceptional service for West Midtown professionals and local fitness enthusiasts.

  • Inventory, Freshness & Cold Chain: Manage ordering, stock control, and proper storage to protect product quality and safety at high volume.

  • Financial Performance: Monitor labor costs, support profitability goals, and work with the Toast POS platform to ensure accurate ordering and smooth transactions.

  • Community & Fulfillment: Lead pickup service flow, third-party delivery execution, catering tray preparation, and support mobile app rewards and promo participation.

What You Bring

  • You lead with positivity, accountability, and a strong example on the floor.

  • You enjoy coaching a team and keeping operations organized under pressure.

  • You care about health, freshness, and quality—and you take pride in doing it right.

  • You’re comfortable with high-volume service and love fast-paced, guest-first environments.

Join Us

If you’re ready to lead a vibrant, health-conscious team and help CraveWell Cafe thrive, we’d love to meet you.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 1–2+ years of management or lead experience in a high-volume quick-service restaurant or cafe environment.
  • Proven understanding of ServSafe safety rules, food handling practices, and local health standards.
  • Strong inventory and stock management skills, including ordering, rotation, and minimizing waste.
  • Ability to lead a fast-paced juicery team with a fun, vibrant attitude that keeps energy high.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a great sense of humor to coach and connect with the crew.
  • Comfortable stepping in during busy rushes, keeping workflows on track, and maintaining quality standards.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We make fresh, affordable, made-to-order smoothies, organic cold-pressed juices, customizable acai bowls, and crave-worthy sandwiches, wraps, and specialty toasts—all with the same mindset: Fresh products, fresh food, fresh juice, and happy faces. Our mission is simple: spread the word that healthy can be fun. The CraveWell team’s motto is Fresh. Fit. Fast. We move quickly, learn constantly, and take real pride in serving quality every single shift. Just as important, we take care of our people.
