Job description

Description:

Integrity Infrastructure is hiring a dependable Equipment Operator to support fiber optic and underground utility construction projects based out of our Calhan, Colorado office. This is a full-time, in-person role for someone who takes pride in safe equipment operation, productive field work, and quality restoration.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating a skid steer, trencher, tractor, or similar construction equipment; can safely drive a truck; and is comfortable working outdoors in active utility construction environments. CDL experience is a plus.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operate skid steer, trencher, tractor, and related construction equipment safely and productively.

· Drive a company truck and transport tools, materials, and equipment as assigned.

· Support underground utility and fiber construction activities including trenching, excavation support, conduit placement, backfill, compaction, and restoration.

· Work around utility locates and existing underground facilities with care and attention to safety.

· Assist with jobsite setup, material staging, cleanup, and daily production support.

· Complete or support daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance checks, and reporting of equipment concerns.

· Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, traffic-control direction, and field leadership instructions.

· Maintain a professional attitude with coworkers, subcontractors, inspectors, and the public.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience operating a skid steer, trencher, tractor, or similar construction equipment.

· Ability to safely drive a truck and operate in construction/utility environments.

· Valid driver license and acceptable driving record for company vehicle use.

· Ability to report to 11 5th Street, Calhan, Colorado by 7:00 a.m. Monday-Friday.

· Ability to work outdoors in changing weather, terrain, and active construction conditions.

· Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical construction tasks as required.

· Commitment to safety, property protection, teamwork, and following instructions.

· Ability to successfully complete required post-offer drug screen, background check, and driving/MVR review.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· CDL Class A or Class B is a plus.

· Tractor, farm/ranch equipment, trencher, skid steer, mini-excavator, or utility equipment experience.

· Fiber optic construction, FTTH, underground utility, conduit, trenching, boring, or excavation experience.

· Traffic control, flagging, utility locate, ROW/easement, or restoration experience.

· Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment maintenance issues early
