Job description

RedStone Ranch is looking for a dependable, hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, isn't afraid of physical labor, and has experience caring for livestock.

Responsibilities
  • ย Evening feeding of livestock including cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and other farm animalsย 
  • ย Fill grain buckets and prepare feed for daily animal careย 
  • ย Clean, refill, and monitor animal water sourcesย 
  • ย Clean stalls, pens, barns, and animal enclosuresย 
  • ย Remove manure and maintain clean grounds throughout the ranchย 
  • ย Empty trash from multiple locations throughout the ranch and replace linersย 
  • ย Clean and sanitize guest restrooms within our Barnyard Experienceย 
  • ย Clean and maintain guest areas to ensure a positive visitor experienceย 
  • ย Take down and properly secure the bounce house at the end of each dayย 
  • ย Ensure all animal gates, latches, and pen entrances are closed and secured before leaving for the eveningย 
  • ย Monitor animal health and report any concerns to managementย 
  • ย Assist with safely moving livestock when neededย 
  • ย Restock feed, bedding, and ranch suppliesย 
  • ย Operate basic farm tools and equipment safely (training provided as needed)ย 
  • ย Assist with general ranch maintenance and special projects as assignedย 
Qualifications
  • Previous farm, ranch, livestock, or stable experience is required
  • ย Comfortable working around large and small farm animalsย 
  • ย Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedlyย 
  • ย Able to work outdoors in Florida heat, rain, and varying weather conditionsย 
  • ย Dependable with excellent attendance and punctualityย 
  • ย Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervisionย 
  • ย Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasksย 
  • ย Weekend and holiday availability requiredย 
  • ย Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredย
