RN - SPECIALTY CLINIC
Join our Specialty Clinic team at Moab Regional Hospital!

Moab Regional Hospital (MRH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Specialty Clinic team.
This RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across a variety of medical specialties in an outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work
both independently and collaboratively. They will be responsible for patient assessment, triage, education, and care coordination.
This position is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position.
Anticipated schedule: Full time (40 hours per week) Mondayโ€“Friday, 08:00-17:00
Starting pay range: $31 โ€“ $44.88/hour, DOE.
A sign-on bonus is available for permanent, full-time hire.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice
standards.
โ€ข Triage incoming patient phone calls, assess patient needs, and provide appropriate advice or direction.
โ€ข Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing patientโ€™s
condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, performing
screenings, and administering vaccinations and medications.
โ€ข Assists healthcare providers with procedures and examinations.
โ€ข Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
โ€ข Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
โ€ข Participates in developing and maintaining established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety;
environmental and infection prevention programs.
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:
โ€ข Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
โ€ข One year of nursing experience
โ€ข Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure
โ€ข Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
โ€ข Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently.
โ€ข Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 20 lbs. with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Nursing preferred
โ€ข Experience in an outpatient setting preferred (Family Practice, Surgical Center, GYN etc)
