**Job Summary:**
The PRE/PACU Registered Nurse will provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures related to ophthalmology. This role requires a skilled nursing professional who can effectively assess, plan, and implement nursing care based on patient needs before and after anesthesia. The nurse will serve a critical role in monitoring patients' recovery and ensuring their comfort and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assess patients' conditions preoperatively and ensure readiness for eye surgery.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and responses post-anesthesia.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients during the recovery phase.
- Administer medications and perform necessary interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and expected outcomes.
