Summary
Job Description:
Baptist Health Surgery Center Eastpoint is hiring for an IntraOp Pain Registered Nurse. The Pain IntraOp RN provides direct patient care throughout interventional pain management procedures in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting. Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, assisting physicians during minimally invasive pain procedures, administering and monitoring moderate sedation as appropriate, maintaining sterile technique, documenting patient care, and ensuring patient safety throughout the intraoperative experience.
This nurse works closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver efficient, high-quality care while promoting positive patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
32 Hours Weekly I Full Time I Dayshift
Requirements
  • Active Kentucky License
  • BCLS Required within 90 days
  • ACLS Required within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Pain Management, Operating Room, Procedure Room, PACU, or Ambulatory Surgery experience preferred.
  • Experience with moderate sedation strongly preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment focused on patient satisfaction and efficiency.
