Full Time Expedition Guide information

How to get a job as an adventure guide?

To become a full-time expedition guide, candidates typically need relevant outdoor experience, strong leadership skills, and certifications such as CPR and first aid. Gaining experience through outdoor activities, obtaining industry-specific certifications, and applying to guiding companies are key steps in securing such a position.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

Full Time Expedition Guides are less likely to be replaced by AI because their roles require outdoor skills, real-time decision-making, and interpersonal interaction. Jobs that involve hands-on work, physical activity, and direct human engagement—such as outdoor adventure guides, healthcare providers, and skilled tradespeople—are expected to remain in demand despite advances in AI. These roles often require physical presence, emotional intelligence, and adaptability that AI cannot easily replicate.

How much do expedition leaders get paid?

Expedition leaders typically earn between $2,000 and $5,000 per week, depending on the location, duration, and their experience. Salaries can vary based on the complexity of the expedition, certifications, and the employer, with some earning additional tips or bonuses for safety and leadership skills.

Is there a job that pays you to explore the world?

A full-time expedition guide is a job that involves traveling to remote or exotic locations to lead outdoor adventures, such as trekking, climbing, or safaris. It requires skills in navigation, safety, and environmental awareness, often supported by certifications like wilderness first aid. This role allows individuals to explore different parts of the world while earning a living guiding others.
