Work Environment

The Orthopedic PTA will work onsite in our rehabilitation hospital facility, which is well-equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources. Our outpatient clinic hosts a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and various specialists, who work together to offer holistic rehabilitation services. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from either 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physical therapy team to provide exceptional care. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Physical Therapists in performing comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical capabilities of patients, focusing on their orthopedic needs.
  • Implementing treatment plans developed by physical therapists that aim to improve patientsโ€™ mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional status.

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and discharge planning in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
