Exercise Physiologist – Cardiovascular Stress Testing

Eastlake Cardiovascular is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our growing team in a large, fast-paced cardiovascular practice. This role is a key part of our diagnostic testing department, supporting physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct exercise stress testing (GXT), stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing in collaboration with supervising physicians and clinical staff.

  • Monitor patients throughout testing procedures, recognizing and responding to abnormal responses as appropriate.

  • Ensure safety protocols and best practices are consistently followed during all testing.

  • Accurately document testing results and maintain detailed records in the patient’s medical chart.

  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining testing protocols and providing reassurance and education.

  • Assist with maintaining testing equipment and supplies.

  • Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing GXT, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing in a clinical setting.

  • ACLS and BLS certification required.

  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and testing protocols.

  • Epic EMR experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with patients and medical staff.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with strong attention to detail.
