CNC Milling Operator

Weare currently hiring for a full-time CNC Milling Operator for our manufacturingfacility in Calgary, Alberta. A CNC Operator produces machined parts byprogramming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, while maintaining qualityand safety standards.

As a CNC Milling Operator, your day-to-dayย responsibilitiesย willinclude:

  • Programming and operating CNC machines
  • Selecting tooling and set up methods to produce partsin the most efficient manner
  • Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure allspecifications are met
  • Modifying machine speed, tooling and cutting styles toensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
  • Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing theFidelity quality standard ISO & AS9100
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing common CNC problems
  • Use of various hand tools
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks and toolcalibrations as needed
  • Following all health and safety regulations andcontrolled goods requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience operating mills is preferred but not required. Entrylevel candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Journeyman, machinist trade certificate or equivalentexperience is considered an asset
  • Experience in Mastercam, Powermill, Solidworks or anyother CAD/CAM software is considered an asset
  • Mandatory that this role take part in a criminalrecord check and controlled goods screening
