Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Program Manager

This position can be located in either NE, IA, CO or IN and hybrid remote work is available.

Company Overview

At GPC, our mission is extraordinary customer satisfaction. We live by our core values of accountability, authenticity, community, integrity, quality, service, and teamwork. We are looking for a dedicated FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Program Manager to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The FTTH Program Manager bridges the gap between residential sales strategy and technical execution. You will design, track, and optimize fiber rollout projects, ensuring that sales commitments seamlessly transition into successful customer installations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Integration & Workflow Optimization

  • Align FTTH deployment programs with market demand and company growth objectives.
  • Partner with dispatch, installers, and district managers to balance sales volume with install capacity.
  • Monitor the end-to-end customer journey from initial order through live activation.
  • Optimize order-to-install workflows to increase conversion rates and reduce cancellations.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Response Center (CRC) to streamline inbound sales and customer retention efforts.

2. Project Management & Execution

  • Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for residential sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation, tracking tools, and KPI dashboards.
  • Apply modern project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) to drive efficiency.
  • Run post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and implement best practices.

3. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as the central communication hub between leadership, cross-functional teams, and external contractors.
  • Facilitate regular alignment meetings across sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Proactively identify project risks, resolve conflicts, and implement mitigation strategies.

4. Safety & Professionalism

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of GPC’s product suite and telecommunications technology.
  • Follow and champion all company safety guidelines, workplace inspections, and compliance policies.
  • Present a highly professional and courteous image to customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 2–3 years supporting or coordinating technical, business, or telecommunications processes.

Core Competencies

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of telecommunications services, fiber networks, or residential sales cycles.
  • Project Tools: High proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytics: Strong statistical and analytical skills to measure performance and optimize KPIs.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage confidential information.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding relationship-building skills, strong organizational habits, and a customer-first sense of urgency.
