Job description

What Drives Success

The Dynomate/Connector Machine Operators primary function is to ensure the setup, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery.

Job Duties:

  • Record accurate daily production while maintaining production quotas. 
  • Ensuring the inspection of the quality of the product during daily production. 
  • Perform minor adjustments of the roll-forming machine as needed. 
  • Ensure proper markings are affixed to the product fabric. 
  • Ensure product is packaged in the appropriate carton and labels are affixed. 
  • Ensure finished packaged product is placed on skids. 
  • Ensure presses and dies are lubricated when required. 
  • Maintain work area clean and free of debris.
  • Ensure the recording of scrap. 
  • Load any and all raw material as needed.
  • Notify the supervisor when a machine is not working properly.
  • Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • What We Are Looking For

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be able to read/write in English.
    • Must be flexible - OT and weekends are required as needed.
    • Must be able to work a 10 hour/day schedule.
    • Work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to assist in other areas/departments when there is downtime.

    Education 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    Experience 

    • A minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience 

    Physical Requirements - Essential

    • Must be in good physical condition.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must have good hand/eye coordination.
    • Must be able to sit, stand, walk and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)

    Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18.00- $22.00 /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
